If you love heights and amazing views, you will find yourself being drawn to one of Sydney’s tallest free-standing structures – the Sydney Tower!

Construction started in 1970 and was completed in late 1981. Sydney Tower is also known as Centrepoint – standing an amazing 305 metres above Sydney’s CBD, the Tower can hold a maximum capacity of 960 people!

There are three main sections of Sydney Tower for you to explore and enjoy. But this is definitely not for the faint hearted!

Using the elevators to get to the top is similar to the scene from ‘Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory’. Once you step inside, your journey to the top will take you up 250 meters in a mere 40 seconds!

The first section of Sydney Tower and your first stop on your way to the top that will take you to the 360° degree observation area. It is here that you can feast your eyes on the beauty which is Sydney! Also situated on the first section of the Tower is a gift shop and ‘read about’ display.

After cruising around the Observation Deck and experiencing some of Sydney’s finest city icons, take yourself back to the excitement of the ‘turbo charged’ elevator and make your way up to the top section.

It is here that you can test your skills and your fear of heights on the Sydney Tower Skywalk. Standing a mere 268 meters from ground level, this open-air and glass floored platform circles around the Tower and stands twice the height of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!

The Revolving Restaurant is your third and final stop, as there is nowhere left to go but down! Situated on the 3rd section of Sydney Tower, the Sydney Tower Restaurant is one of the busiest restaurants in the CBD and boasts stunning 360˚ views that no other restaurant in the city can compare with!

As your tummy grumbles and your mouth waters, take in the delightful setting of the Restaurant's full buffet menu – Or for the romantics, treat yourself and that special someone to one of the delicacies off the specially selected a la carte menu!

The OzTrek experience is a simulated ride that allows you to experience such famous icons as the Sydney Harbour Bridge together with a fly-over of the Sydney Opera House and then onto more exotic destinations like white water rafting through the mangroves in Tropical North Queensland.
